Research leads to finding new and innovative answers to the challenges posed to us by healthcare architecture now and in the future.
The master's degree is composed of two parts. The master also requires the completion of a project dissertation to be submitted at the beginning of the next academic cycle.
The aim is for students to:
- Achieve specialized training focused on the design of healthcare architecture in order to adapt to the demands of new technologies as well as the rapidly changing social, economic and cultural conditions.
- Be able to carry out research into healthcare solutions that respond to these new demands and conditions. It is essential to research new typologies that address the continuously developing medical care and treatments.
During the second part of the program, the students will present the preliminary project thesis. The topics for investigation can be proposed by the course instructors, or by the students themselves, subject to approval by the academic direction.
The subsequent development of the project thesis will be carried out with supervision by the course instructors, in person or by Skype.
Project thesis evaluation system
The project thesis of each student will be evaluated on two levels:
1) Evaluation of the preliminary project thesis, which has to be approved in December 2019 so that the student can submit the completed project in July 2020.
2) Evaluation by the course instructors of the completed project thesis to be presented by each student in September 2020, in person or by Skype.
