In the project workshop, under the direction of Mario Corea, each student will design a medium-complexity hospital. The focus is on the interrelations between the healthcare systems the spatial and architectural qualities.

THE AIM IS FOR STUDENTS TO:

  • Learn how to choose an appropriate site and design typology with the suitable characteristics for the development of a medium complexity hospital.

  • Design a hospital based on the interrelations between the architectural design of the spaces and the functional organization.

  • Propose architectural models that respond to the concepts developed in the research of each student.
