ANA LUCÍA MORALES
Lima, Perú
2018 EDITION

In 2019 Ana Lucía completed the master's degree Healthcare Architecture for Now and the Future in its first edition. Currently she is working for the firm of Mario Corea Arquitectura and she is also the coordinator of the LA(H)B.

“I decided to study the master's degree in the LA(H)B because it offered me an international approach to health systems and their interrelation with architecture, as well as the opportunity to learn from recognized professionals with a lot of experience, and what I think is very important, the possibility of visiting the most important healthcare centers in Catalonia. It was a great learning experience to be a real time observer of new medical technologies and seeing how the spaces are used. It also permitted interaction with the patients and medical staff.”

“From a professional point of view, the master has given me a broader vision and the technical tools necessary to strengthen my knowledge, as well as the capacity to face design challenges in international fields. From the academic point of view, completing my thesis has given me the opportunity to form part of panels at specialized conferences on healthcare architecture and even the possibility of being able to present my research work in international congresses of healthcare design. On a personal level, sharing an academic experience with people from different countries is always enriching and what I can highlight most about the LA(H)B is the emphasis on teamwork, knowledge sharing and daily and working with like-minded colleagues.”
