Research leads to finding new and innovative answers to the challenges posed to us by healthcare architecture now and in the future.

RESEARCH MODULE IN SPECIFIC HEALTHCARE TOPICS

  • The research stage begins with a research topic approved by the academic direction, where the student will develop a Final Master's Project (FMP) consisting of a research work and a project response to the topic raised.

  • The student will focus on research and innovation, addressing new functional programs and new project responses in healthcare architecture, both on current and future topics, and analyzing the different typologies, sustainability, energy efficiency and updating on new technologies.

The aim is for students to:

  • Achieve specialized training focused on the design of healthcare architecture in order to adapt to the demands of new technologies as well as the rapidly changing social, economic and cultural conditions.

  • Be able to carry out research into healthcare solutions that respond to these new demands and conditions. It is essential to research new typologies that address the continuously developing medical care and treatments.

FINAL MASTER’S PROJECT (FMP)

The FMP will be tutored by the responsible professors, in person or remotely, through individual tutorials, group control sessions, and progress presentations by the students.

The final delivery of the FMP and the presentation will be made in December 2022 in person or by video conference.

FMP EVALUATION SYSTEM

The FMP of each student will be evaluated on this levels:

1) Evaluation of the preliminary development of the FMP, through individual tutorials, group presentations and remote deliveries.

2) Evaluation of the FMP itself by the responsible professors, it can be in person or at a distance.

3) The master also requires the public presentation of the FMP according to a determined date, it can be in person or by video conference.
