The location of the site in a noisy and crowded area of the urban center provoked the need to move the hospital away from the edges and provide spaces of tranquility. To accomplish this, two compact volumes surrounded by green spaces were proposed, which allowed for mediating spaces between the building and the city. The slope of the site facilitated the articulation of staggered sections that provide natural light and views to all the services, which is especially important in the hospitalization areas. In this way the entire hospital community enjoys comfortable luminous spaces, including the patients and their families as well as the hospital personnel.
