The design approach for this hospital is based on a horizontal typology articulated in section by three similar volumes, which are connected by the technical and public corridors, as well as internal patios that link them visually. The division of the different areas is organized by the technical corridor at the rear of the site and the public corridor at the front. While the critical services are located on the far right-hand side of the building, the more public services are concentrated on the left-hand side. A mixed services area serves as a transition space between the technical and public blocks.
