The project seeks to incorporate the urban pattern of Poblenou through the creation of public spaces, and obtain a synergy with the existing historical and industrial buildings on the site, while preserving their singularities. The accesses to the hospital are connected through a large internal public boulevard that serves as a boundary between the outpatient areas and the most critical areas of the hospital; as well as an axis that guides the users through each of the functional units.
