Located between an orthogonal and diagonal fabric, between modern buildings and residential blocks, between urban flows and neighborhood routes, the site is characterized by the diversity of a place in constant change. The location is between two axes. One is parallel to the Avinguda Meridiana and contains the accesses and public circulation. The other connects the neighborhood visually as well as at the pedestrian level with the flow of the Meridiana. The program is enhanced by an auditorium, shops and outdoor spaces, all of which transform the concept of the hospital into a building that is open to and in dialogue with its urban surroundings.
