Given that hospitals and technology both evolve over time, this project focused on organizational and formal flexibility. The building was designed as an extensive volume with a sunken ground floor, integrated into the natural surroundings. The creation of patios makes the most of the natural light, resulting in spaces of notable architectural quality. The upper floor is spread across three volumes, which appear to be floating over the lower volume, and which offer excellent views towards the forest. The project does not seek to be an architectural landmark but instead aims to blend in gently with the landscape.
