The project responds to the need to establish a conversation between the neighborhood and the new hospital. The approach was based on identifying the characteristics of the place to incorporate them as part of the design concept. The reinterpretation of one of the typical elements of the surrounding buildings, the balconies, was the point of departure for the project. Their inclusion allows for a separation between the limits of the exterior and interior and provides the project with green areas on the different facades, which makes the hospital more user-friendly and at the same time facilitates its incorporation into the community.
