The project seeks to adapt to the urban conditions of the site, with the objective being to formalize the two main volumes. The base is a large element in which the hospital is developed and which appropriates the pedestrian promenade as well as respects the old factory "Ca l'Alier" and on the other hand the hospitalization block connected to the internal green areas generated by the unification of the units.
"The tangible elements were what shaped the design process. Being faithful to Barcelona's urban model the hospital connects to the city and more importantly to the people."
