2022 Project Workshop: Provençals Hospital
Workshop professors: Mario Corea, Lidia Planas, Hernán Gastelú

The project is located in the Provençals del Poblenou neighborhood, in the district of San Martí in Barcelona, where the former textile factory "Ca l'Alier" is located and which is, currently the Urban Innovation Center of Barcelona. This functional program of this medium complexity hospital of 20,000 m2, consists of outpatient consultations, diagnostic imaging, surgical block, emergency, hospitalization and administration, as well as medical and technical support services. The main objectives of the project are to generate a connection between functionality, the architectural proposal and integration with the city.
