The project aims, from the concept of "sanitas" (body, mind and spirit) to integrate the various human activities and their environment (nature-city) that will be developed by the hospital user and ordinary citizen. It begins with the premise: ¨City within a city¨ and uses integrative public spaces as places for health in all aspects, maintaining its character and human scale. The building is sustainable, it is a response to the place and the context where it is located. An attempt is made to maintain the legacy of what was once the "Poblenou" considering its history and culture.
