The project is based on theunderstanding that a building of this nature constructs the city. At the same time it is powerful enough to activate the area while generating new problems at different scales (city-neighborhood-patient), which is where the project possibilities lie. Under this concept a Hospital Park is proposed, where the public space and the "volume of green" enterinto the building taking advantage of the permeability afforded by the design strategy of a series of pavilions combined with courtyards. As a result there is a constant interior-exterior tension that generates observable and/or visual visible spatial continuities that seek to enrich the patient's experience by introducing ventilation, sunlight and views.
