This project seeks to respect the high density of the local urban profile with a raised volume on one side of the site. The hospitalization area is located in this vertical block in order to take advantage of the views to the surrounding public spaces and the interior gardens of the hospital. Likewise, the use of natural light–a key element both for energy savings as well as its effectiveness for the psychological recovery of patients–is achieved through the horizontality of rest of the project and the placement of the main departments of the hospital on a single floor with central gardens.
