LUCAS AGUILAR
Lima, Perú
2018 EDITION

Currently, Lucas is working as an architect in the design and coordination of the Qualis project, one of the first outpatient medical office buildings in Perú. The project has more than 300 private practices and is under the construction stage, culminating in 2021.

“I decided to study the LA(H)B master´s degree because since I was a child I have a direct bond with hospitals because my parents are doctors and that's where I spent most of my childhood. During my final years in undergraduate school, I took an interest in healthcare architecture and realized that it was necessary to deepen and perfect my knowledge about this very relevant topic. However, there are very few resources and research in general at universities.”

“Professionally, the master has given me the theoretical and practical approaches I need to face each project with motivation and security, understanding that the role of the architect is key in the development of our society. On a personal level, at the LA(H)B the interaction with people from different contexts and places creates an environment of friendship, multiculturalism and constant exchange of knowledge.”
