The hospital is located outside the city on the edge of Collserola Park where nature and views are the protagonists. The building volume rises from the sloped site following the topography and at the same time delimits the perimeter. Accesses are proposed at different levels: the main one in the lower part, the emergency entrance in the highest part and an entry directly connected with the pedestrian walkway located parallel to the building. The internal organization revolves around landscaped courtyards that allow the entry of light and natural ventilation. Detaching from the base of the volume, the hospitalization area rises in height like a great eye that looks towards the mountain providing views of the landscape.
