This project draws its inspiration from the concept of "light permeability". The decision to locate the functional elements below ground level was seen as a way of distancing the hospital from its hostile surroundings. This approach required that the lower floors be provided with as much access to light as possible. Above ground level, three discreet horizontal blocks characterized by visual lightness and minimal height formalize the project. These three blocks connect with the main facade, a double-height volume that delimits the privacy of the inpatient spaces and acts as a visual and acoustic screen.
