Having a hospital in a forest demonstrates architecture’s capacity to create spaces that can improve people's curative process, said spaces becoming refuges in which the patient is no longer a sick person, but rather a guest who needs looking after. A connection with nature, a stirring of the senses and an element of discovery are important features of this project, which seeks to maximize its integration with the landscape. The idea is to provide users with a pleasant environment where the essence of the place is unaffected, reinforcing play, contact, and the intention to promote a more human form of architecture.
