The starting point for this project was the idea of generating social and technical solutions to the need for urban healthcare facilities. From the outset the proposal was based on the idea of giving back to the community the public space that had been denied by the overwhelming presence of industrial buildings. Subsequently, it was decided the project could work visually on two different levels. The first provides views to the sea from the inpatient area, while the second permits the outpatient area to open onto a public space that will eventually become an expansive green leisure area.
