The project seeks integration with the environment to maintain the peaceful microclimate of the place. The horizontal typology facilitates the creation of courtyards that allow the forest to penetrate the interior along with natural light, thereby generating spaces of high architectural quality. A large public space acts as a spine that connects and organizes the hospital both in plan and section, culminating in the teaching area. This spine bends at the main entrance framing it and creating a large public square. At the same time, the bend displaces the hospitalization area, which rises up into a multi-level block that provides light and views to users.
