The project is built from the void, as a positive public space composed of relationships between private environments, and from contemplative physical and visual connections. It’s a permeable building in terms of its horizontal and vertical development, saturated with air and life as well as nature; with a spatial quality that promotes physical and mental changes in the patients and citizens who walk around its perimeter and through its interior. The urban and architectural structure, as form and material, is a proposal consistent with what one encounters walking around Barcelona: its facades, its skins, its streets, its landscape, its surprises, its charm.
