The site for the hospital is located on sloped woodland close to a school, and the area is used by its pupils for exploration and games. The concept behind this project sought to integrate the hospital with its surroundings so as to preserve the existing aura of tranquility and not deprive the children of their recreation area. As a result, the main challenge was to design the orderliness a hospital demands while also maintaining the vitality of the trees and forest. An intermediate area serves as a separation between the hospital and the school. It also provides the main entrance, creating an impression that the forest is within the building, and offers views reminding us of the beauty of our surroundings.
