The main objective of this project is the relationship between the users and the surroundings at both the pedestrian and visual level. In this sense, in order to connect the people with the hospital, the intention was to create interior/exterior links by extending the public space towards the inside of the building. In addition, the design for the project was especially concerned with the well-being of the hospitalized patients, since they will spend more time in the building with limited mobility. For this reason a visual relationship between the rooms and the cityscape was emphasized, allowing the patients to be aware of the passage of time.
